Biodiesel production, 3D animated film

The Carbo-V process is a multi-stage gasification process that makes it possible to convert solid biomass into burnable fuel or synthesis gas. The gas produced is then either converted directly into electricity and heat in gas engines or, using the process known as Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, further converted into a synthetic biofuel, SunDiesel. The animated film first shows how bioethanol is obtained from straw by means of alcoholic fermentation. In its second part, it explains how synthesis gas is obtained from carbon dust, and how the Fischer-Tropsch process is used to create high quality biodiesel.
